Ms. Lerner has been involved in the technology industry for more than 30 years and is recognized as a pioneer. She earned a degree in mechanical engineer, which is not a field many women went into at the time, and steadily progressed throughout the industry. Ms. Lerner joined Triaem LLC, a system integration company that provides large system integration services for the public sector, in January 2013. An expert in managing medium- to large-sized information technology systems, Ms. Lerner is responsible for technically and programmatically managing multiple programs at once for the government in the public sector for the U.S. Department of Defense, and overseeing systems integration, programs and systems development for worldwide use.

Ms. Lerner has made sure to manage her career path as the economy and technology have changed. She has worked for various companies in the field and has been a valuable employee throughout her career. Although highly accomplished, Ms. Lerner believes the highlight of her career was leading a system development effort, and delivering both on time and within budget, as well as overcoming the odds for women to succeed in engineering. A certified project management professional, Ms. Lerner has been successful in her endeavors because she continually educates herself and obtains certifications, and because she is not easily intimidated.
