Arlington Heights, IL, July 18, 2014, Rory A. Gilbert, Vice President of Kroeschell, Inc., has been recognized by Elite American Engineers for dedication, achievements and leadership in engineering.

Mr. Gilbert became involved in his profession when he was making his college choices; he wanted to go into electrical engineering, but was intrigued by the energy conservation choices that were going on and pursued a different path. He began his career as a mechanical engineer at Rochester Gas & Electric and served as a project engineer at Sargent & Lundy before joining Kroeschell in 1988.

Well versed in energy management, central utility plants, and building systems, Mr. Gilbert has held a variety of positions at Kroeschell. He worked hard to take on more responsibility in leadership roles and assumed the position of vice president more than a decade ago. As the vice president, he is tasked with managing design/build projects for a variety of clients, and developing engineering solutions.

Mr. Gilbert has worked on numerous high-profile projects and with many reputable clients. He enjoys being able to share his knowledge with others and solve complex problemss. Mr. Gilbert credits his good communication and relationship-building skills to the success he has experienced throughout his illustrious career.
