Duluth, GA, March 16, 2011, Rhett Davis, President and Consulting Engineer of Rhett Davis & Associates PC, has been recognized by Elite American Engineers for dedication, achievements and leadership in structural engineering.
With nearly five decades of professional experience, Mr. Davis has attained a mastery of structural steel design and engineering. As the president of Rhett Davis & Associates PC, he is highly sought after to manage design and engineering projects. Rendering precise calculations for steel connections, stairs and handrails, his work in structural building and bridge fabrication and erection has garnered him much renown. He attributes his success to his hard work and persistence, as well as the influence of the writings of Norman Vincent Peale, Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, and Earl Nightingale, especially. When Mr. Davis first moved to Bethlehem, Pa., with Bethlehem Steel, he would listen to Mr. Nightingale’s radio program while driving to work. He ordered so many copies of the program from its sponsor, the Merchants National Bank of Allentown, that it began providing them to him on a weekly basis. In addition to this impression, he is thankful for the discipline he received during his time in the military and the support of his family.
In 1962, Mr. Davis graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Following this, he earned a master’s degree in structural engineering from Lehigh University. Recognized for his accomplishments, he has been listed in International Who’s Who and Strathmore’s Who’s Who and America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals. In his leisure time, he enjoys reading literature, listening to music and being active within his local church.
